Portland v. DC Player Ratings

The result in Houston left us with little enthusiasm for writing up the player ratings, but we are back this week. Without further ado:
Jose,Roscoe,Cody, Dan, AVG, Sqauwka, Passes, %, Saves

5, 5, NA,5, 4.8 , -19, 4/9,44%, 2

5.7,6,5.34,5.3,5.64, -29, 105/173, 61%, 20, Season
Jose: It is tough to be overly critical when the opponents goals came via a deflection and own goal.

Dan: Probably should have saved the deflected shot.
Jose,Roscoe,Cody, Dan, Total, Sqauwka, Passes, %, KP,Accurate Crosses, A Long Balls,ATB,Tackles, Duels,Int., Clear.,

5,5,5.5,4,5.4, 10, 43/53, 81%,0, 0,0, 1/5, 1/1,2,5/5,

5.6,4.6,4.8,5,4.86, 39, 228/286, 80%,.1,NA,2,  2/15, 8/24, 7/12,16,24/24, Season
Jose: With Nagbe and Valeri spending the majority of the game on the right, Jack was left to focus on defending. His positioning continues to be a strength.

Dan: Barely noticed him, which is usually a good sign with Jack. Unmemorable has its drawbacks though.
Jose,Roscoe,Cody, Dan, AVG, Sqauwka, Passes, %,KP, Accurate Crosses, ALB,Goals, Tackles, Duels,Int., Clear.,

5,5.5,5.5, 5,5.6,  3, 20/29, 69%, 0/0, 1/1, 0/1,3,4/4

5.1,4.8,4.3,4.7,4.69, 6, 180/238, 76%, 0/2, 6/15, 8/13,13,35/35, Season
Jose: A somewhat improved performance.

Dan: I’m glad EJ didn’t play. Probably would not have been good for Kah.
Jose,Roscoe,Cody, Dan, AVG, Sqauwka, Passes, %,Goals, Tackles, Duels,Int., Clear.,

6.5,5, 5,6,5.3, 5, 19/23, 83%, 0/1, 2/3, 3/4,0,6/6

6,5,5.2,5.1,5.38, 22, 114/144, 79%, 0/2, 8/10, 9/19,7,37/37, Season
Jose: A fantastic finish to go along with yet another good effort on the backline.

Dan: If I was as solid as Futty in all aspects of my life I could live with that.
Jose,Roscoe,Cody, Dan, AVG, Sqauwka, Passes, %,Goals, Chances , Tackles, Duels,Int., Clear.,

5,6,5.5,5,5.4, 7, 52/64, 81%, 0/0,0, 1/1, 3/3,1,1/1

4.9,5,4.8,4.9,4.92, -24, 150/193, 76%, 0/2,3, 14/21, 10/15,12,30/30,Season
Jose: Perhaps my expectations are too high, but I believe Harrington has the potential to be more than just a passing outlet.

Dan: Sells a good cup of juice.
Jose,Roscoe,Cody, Dan, AVG, Sqauwka, Passes, %,Goals,Chances , Tackles, Duels,Int., Clear.,

6,7,6,6,6.6, 25, 32/39, 82%, 0/0, 1 ,5/9, 0/0,2,2/2

6.8,6.4,6.3,6.4.,6.48, 167, 207/237, 87%, 4/4,5 ,25/47, 2/4,19,14/14, Season
Jose: I don’t want to think about what things would look like without Chara.

Dan: Chara just Chara’d the hell outta this game.
Jose,Roscoe,Cody, Dan, AVG, Sqauwka, Passes, %,Goals,Chances, Tackles, Duels,Int., Clear.,

6,5,6,6,5.8, 15, 38/42, 90%, 0/0, 0,0/1, 1/2,1,5/5

6.25,5.9,5.6,5.75,5.96, 150, 267/302, 88%, 0/13,5,15/27, 11/15,5,17/17, Season
Jose: The offensive outburst in 2013 is looking more and more like a fluke, but Johnson still provides Portland with plenty of quality on both sides of the ball.

Dan: Putting in some solid shifts lately. He and Chara can really dominate the midfield at their peak.
Jose,Roscoe,Cody, Dan, AVG, Sqauwka, Passes, %,Goals,Chances,Crosses, Corners,Take Ons, Fouls C/S

6.5,5,5.5,7,5, 8, 16/23, 65%, 0/1,1 ,1/5, 1/3,0/0,0/1

5.75,5,5.4,5.7,5.4, 85, 185/266, 70%, 1/19,14, 10/35, 8/17,0/11,4/13, Season
Jose: The superior vision and skill were on full display Saturday night. He is starting to connect on his passes and that will only lead to great things for Portland.

Dan: Best game of the year for Valeri. Created instant offense even from the wing. Hopefully this continues.
Jose,Roscoe,Cody, Dan, AVG, Sqauwka, Passes, %,Goals, Chances, Crosses, Corners,Take Ons, Fouls C/S

5,5.5,5.5,5,5.9, 11, 29/33, 88%, 0/1,0,0/0, 0/0,3/5,0/4

6.3,6.4,5.8,6.3,6.3, 188, 195/231, 84%, 0/6,13, 1/3, 0/0,18/29,2/26, Season
Jose: Still waiting for the breakout game.

Dan: Quiet game for Nagbe. Too many of these lately.
Jose,Roscoe,Cody, Dan,AVG, Sqauwka, Passes, %,Goals, Chances, Crosses, Corners,Take Ons, Fouls C/S

4.5,5,NA,NA,4, -3, 2/2, 100%, 0/0,1,  0/1, 0/0,0/0,0/0

5.25,4.5,4.75,5,5, 17, 28/37, 76%, 0/3,1, 0/9, 0/1,0/0,1/1, Season
Jose: A mostly disappointing effort. Zakuani appeared timid and unwilling to go at defenders.

Dan: Didn’t contribute much. Still looking for the final somebody to solidify this postion. Seemed like Kalif and Zakuani are holding it down until Rodwall comes back.
Jose,Roscoe,Cody, Dan, AVG, Sqauwka, Passes, %,Goals,Chances, Crosses, Corners,Take Ons, Fouls C/S

7,9,6,7.5,7.1, 28, 14/16, 88%, 0/1,3, 1/4, 1/2,0/0,0/2

6.5,5.8,5.5,5.8,5.76, 120, 118/156, 76%, 2/6,11 ,5/20, 4/9,2/5,4/11,Season
Jose: Like Valeri, Gaston’s level of quality is self-evident.

Dan: Creative passes, brilliant goal. He’s really great in the middle of the field.

Substitutes
Jose,Roscoe,Cody, Dan, AVG, Sqauwka, Passes, %,Goals,Chances, Crosses, Corners,Take Ons, Fouls C/S

8,5.5,5,7,6.2, 1, 8/11, 73%, 0/2,0, 0/0, 0/0,0/0,0/1

6.5,5.3,5.3,5.6,5.82, 72, 58/80, 73%, 1/14,1, 0/7, 0/1,1/2,6/12, Season
Jose: Been trying to tell y’all.

Dan: Do you like apples? Well Urruti got the game winner, how do you like them apples?
Jose,Roscoe,Cody, Dan, AVG, Sqauwka, Passes, %,Goals,Chances , Crosses, Corners,Take Ons, Fouls C/S

6, 5,5,5,5.4,-6, 25/32, 78%, 0/1,1, 0/0, 0/0, 0/1, 0/2

6.3,5.8,5,6,5.9, 38, 80/101, 79%, 0/6,3, 1/7, 0/0,6/8,2/7
Jose: I love Kalif and his fearlessness. He is a valuable player either starting or off the bench.

Dan: Good news is that Zakuani didn’t steal his job, bad news is he didn’t do much to say he deserved it either.
